Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!

Image
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! I hope you guys had an amazing 2019, and I hope you have an amazing 2020! It’s crazy how one year takes forever when you’re in the middle of it, but as soon as it’s over it seems like it went by really fast! I decided to combine my December and January post because there wasn’t a lot that happened in either month. Well, a lot happened, but most of it was between the months.             First of all, Merry Christmas! I hope you had an amazing Christmas, and I posted a song on my YouTube channel about Christmas here in Mozambique/Africa, which I’ll talk more about later. We were able to start Christmas with presents and a delicious breakfast with our friend Laura. I am so thankful to the Lord for all of the presents I got, and I hope my family liked my homemade gifts ๐Ÿ˜‚ . We pretty much just chilled Christmas day, but that night we started our trip to South Africa.    ...

September/October Update; Happy Halloween!

Image
Hey guys! Sorry for the late post, like usual.  ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜… I need to clarify something though, in case you’re confused. At one point I was going to start posting weekly, but now things are so busy with school and everything that I just don’t have the time to do that. So, now I will be trying to post as often as possible, but hopefully at least once a month. This post is for September/October, so you can look for my November post sometime in the near future or early December, and maybe a post before then. Anywho, sorry for all of the inconsistency. We’ve just been really busy! Honestly, we just got back into a routine last week. But don’t worry, I’ll make up for it. :) To start it off, we finished the first half of the last term! Woohoo! I honestly can’t believe that next week is the last week of school! The last day of school is the 30th, and on the 30th   is my grade’s graduation. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but at our school we have primary (Kindergarten-6th) and Se...

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Image
Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year! I know I did. Even though I didn't get to go to mk camp, I still got to shop at this GIANT mall called The Mall Of Africa. Before we left for South Africa, we got to decorate Christmas cookies at our colleagues' house. It was really fun! They were playing Christmas music and everything! It reminded me of when we used to go to our neighbor's house in D.C. and decorate Christmas cookies. Even though it didn't really feel like Christmas because of the weather and whatnot, we still enjoyed telling the Christmas story and opening presents. We all enjoyed our presents! I had a fun time making cards for my siblings and parents. We also made a gingerbread house. Kind of... It fell down. But luckily, I got a picture before it fell. We all enjoyed the good old tradition of making a gingerbread house!  In South Africa, we went to the mall I told you about called The Mall Of Africa. There...

Kenya Meeting

Image
First of all, I want to apologize. I haven't written in a while, and I feel really bad!! But anywho, from October 9 to October 23 (for about 2 weeks) we had a meeting in Kenya. It was really fun because we got to see our friends from our meeting back in Zambia, which we missed a lot, and still miss! I didn't really write a lot about that meeting, so I think I should write about this one. We arrived at the first meeting place about a day early, so we got a whole day to go shopping and explore Kenya! One of the things I love about Kenya is that they speak English, so it's easier to communicate. We went to a mall called Two Rivers and started shopping! We ate at a Mexican restaurant called Sabor รก Mexico, which is special because in Mozambique you don't really get Mexican restaurants, so our parents practically let us get anything on the menu. Call me fat, greedy, or a foodie but my burrito was GOOD! ๐ŸŒฏ My plate before... ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿคค And my plate after...  That Sun...
