Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year! I know I did. Even though I didn't get to go to mk camp, I still got to shop at this GIANT mall called The Mall Of Africa.
Before we left for South Africa, we got to decorate Christmas cookies at our colleagues' house. It was really fun! They were playing Christmas music and everything! It reminded me of when we used to go to our neighbor's house in D.C. and decorate Christmas cookies. Even though it didn't really feel like Christmas because of the weather and whatnot, we still enjoyed telling the Christmas story and opening presents.

We all enjoyed our presents! I had a fun time making cards for my siblings and parents.

We also made a gingerbread house. Kind of... It fell down. But luckily, I got a picture before it fell.

We all enjoyed the good old tradition of making a gingerbread house!

In South Africa, we went to the mall I told you about called The Mall Of Africa. There's no Starbuck's in Mozambique, so of course, when my mom saw Starbucks, we went!

Mom and I at Starbucks! Do I have to mention we look a lot alike??!!

While we were in South Africa, Tabitha's birthday came! She turned 15! Oh my cherry pie! It's crazy. It was kind of sad though, because her birthday was the day that most of our friends left. So I was pretty sad. But, all was not lost, because shortly after they left, we went to an amusement park called Gold Reef City! My favorite ride was the Anaconda, which you can probably tell is REALLY scary from the name. Actually, I love rollercoasters and thrill rides and things like that! So naturally, that was my favorite ride! I went on it two times. But the ride I really wanted to go on was called The Tower of Terror, which is a giant ride that you get on, and it's really high. You get on, and then you drop down super fast! It's supposed to be the scariest ride in the park! But I didn't go on it because at first it was closed, and then when it opened and we went to get on it, the park was closing 😢. Maybe next time. Anywho, back to the theme park: When we where there we had lunch at a place called Mugg & Bean, and this guy offered to paint our faces for FREE!! Our parents said yes, so Asher went first, and he had his face painted to look like Spider-Man, then Judah had a butterfly painted on her face, and Tabitha, Ben, and I had our faces painted as skulls. It looked really cool! But at the end of the day, mine was pretty messed up.

I choose to have my skull painted blue because that's my favorite color (well, sea green, but yeah). I REALLY like how my skull turned out! Don't you???!!!

Thanks for your prayers! Note: I also posted another post today that I forgot to post in November 😬. You can see it here. Hope everyone has a great new year! Hugs and Love from Mozambique! Feel free to comment if you have any questions or anything you want me to post about!

One more thing: I just want to say wow! I can't believe that this is my 20th post! It's crazy to think that in this blog's all time history I've had 2,168 views! I never thought that many people would see my blog! Thank you soooo much for your support! Tell your friends about this blog! Spread the news! I want kids (especially mks) to know that they can do great things, and influence other people through their thoughts!

Until next time, Tchau 😘!  Love, Gracie 💙
